The most common side effect of Emsculpt is a mild feeling of muscle soreness like you might feel after an intense workout. during Emsculpt treatments, the supramaximal contractions that occur flush lactic acid out of the body, which relieves the feeling of soreness. There are little to no side effects associated with Emsculpt, though this treatment is not for everyone. Emsculpt is not recommended for:
- pregnant women
- patients who have any metal pieces (such as plates or screws)
- patients with medical devices (such as a pacemaker)
Emsculpt should be used as a way to enhance the results of exercise and a healthy diet. It is not a replacement for either one.
